Merlot and Cabernet have always been cultivated in the Berici Hills; every person with a small vineyard had these varieties. It's a wine of Venetian tradition.

Vinified in steel, the grapes come from various vineyards in the hills and the blend percentages vary from year to year depending on the season.

Technical information

Grape variety: Merlot and Cabernet sauvignon

Vineyard location: Barbarano Vicentino, Villaga, Nanto
Training system: Guyot, Spurred Cordon

Exposure: south - southwest

Vineyard size: about 5.000 m²

Harvest: Hand-picked, merlot in the middle of september and cab sauvignon at the beginning of october

Vinification: Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks and aging in stainless steel.
